Re: rearview mirror

Are ya lookin for an original one or something newer?
I've got a few newer style mirrors. I've got some with map lights and one with built in compass/temp.

Re: rearview mirror

Killer - I should have a complete set-up. How much do you need? Bracket, arm, cover, mirror?

Let me know - Bob

Re: rearview mirror

Killer, I have one here that is nicer than original, yet looks right to all but the die hard truck guy.
Stainless body, shines real good, has slight markings from the stupid fuzzy dice that was hanging from the mirror, very mild marking.
day/night laver on the bottom
Mounts to the arm hanging from your cab
Rubber surround as the truck ones have
*this is the big improvement* I've never seen an original truck mirror that was any good, the 'mirror' coating on the glass seperates from the glass its self. This one is 100% there, and I have yet to see one seperate.
Measures 12 inches long on the bottom, a little less on top. I think this is a tad longer than a truck one.
This came out of either a 68 eldorodo, or a 70 rear wheel drive (can't remember the body style) caddy. I grab these when ever I see one becouse they are 10 times better than the junk truck ones.
The only 2 things that could be said are bad points on this mirror, are the light markings on the stainless as I pointed out above, and a little but of surface rust on the mounting tab. I'll see if i can clean that up, but I'll advertise it as being there.
I have no photos at this point, my computer won't recognise my digi-cam. However, if you buy it, and it is not 100% what I just described, I'll buy it back from you.
$25 to your door.
PM me if interested.
