69?'s

i just bought 2 69's 1 custom 10 and 1 custom 20 with leaf springs and a dana rear 350 th 400 1st ? what would be standard gear ratio if none is listed and ?2why do some door panels have the bow tie and some not , is that a year thing and they wer changed in one truck, sorry no pics yet

with the 3/4 ton and dana rear, i think it should be 4.10. at least, mine is and i have no other listed ratio

Ratios are never listed.The bowtie was`69-only.

the69 was a one year only door panel, and there are 2 versions as you've seen. I can't remember which way it goes, but one is early, and one is late. I have one of one style, and one of the other style on mine.
i *THINK* the bow tie is early, and blank is later... but I could be wrong on that... I have a 50/50 chance.

oh, almost forgot the gearing Q...
a 1/2 ton... small block and auto, with no gear listed, should be a 3.07
A 3/4 ton equipped th4e same way, would be a 4.10.

I have a D60 that is a 3.54.

thanks all was hoping i had the 3.54 ratio becausei;m thinking this is the truck needing the 500 caddy
