12 OR 112 He'll never know better. Sounds to me like some one that thinks every thing he has is a gold mine or maybe a future lawyer/polition.

Re: Sometime I wonder about this ebay thing
Bondo is far too expensive and would weigh too much and would probably decrease quarter mile time from a 21.6 sec to a 22.9 sec. Unacceptable. The dent should be filled with wadded up paper towels then covered in strips of 3M duct tape, the stuff that they use on cars that go 200MPH of course. For the final show quality finish, it should receive a coat of duplicolor spray paint from autozone and finished with a nice coat of armor all for that show winning shine.

Re: Sometime I wonder about this ebay thing
good lord that is some funny stuff right there!!! i wonder too if sometimes people put little funny ads like that to get a buyer's attention. i think that you could just convert it to a convertible & not even mess with the "little indentation" in the cab.

with dan42 (just a kid). I sent him a message and told him how he could get a key made for the truck without too much trouble.... I kinda feel sorry for him.

Re: Sometime I wonder about this ebay thing
He is getting pretty excited about all the traffic on his auction. Poor kid.
"On Mar-14-07 at 18:50:27 PDT, seller added the following information: I am going by what I've been told that it's a 4-bolt main...PLEASE only serious bidders. The # of people watching this truck is crazy!!! 350's are really popular... Over 600 hits so far in just two days so you better watch out, so you don't get out bid !!! Just a week left |

Re: Sometime I wonder about this ebay thing
wow... a SUPER RARE 3 BOLT MAIN!!! Just like an 83 Vette!!! Gotta snatch that bad boy up QUICK!!! When I tried to sell my 89 IROC-Z there were a bunch of folk watching it but I didn't get all hot and bothered about it, people watch things all day long! Doesn't mean they'll BUY IT!!!!
But on another note I found this 68 Longhorn 50th Anniv. truck... check it out, seems pretty decent. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Rare-...QQcmdZViewItem Don't like the steering wheel or radio that much, but if it's really what it is, should be worth saving!! Is that round pumpkin an Eaton or the dreaded Gov-Lok? How about the fender emblems? Where's the C-20?

Re: Sometime I wonder about this ebay thing
I was worried it didn't have a clear title. Those 3 bolt blocks came from the "rare" 3 door suburbans.
