Drug home yet another parts truck..1970

This truck was hit while parked.......what a shame!!!!.... it was a nice truck.
It has a great running 250 with three on the tree, a great hood, real nice bed and tailgate (wood needs replacing), new tires, 5 guage cluster, heavy duty clutch option, Factory-rear coil/leaf helper springs and many other clean parts to pick off of it. .

I paid $600 for my driver My wife knows if I had the room, I would have way too many projects. I have a tough time saying no.

That looks like a solid rig. Drop the cab and bed on a new frame and go to work.

I will be using the engine and tranny in a rat rod 67-72 or selling it.
The bed will go on a 72 project I picked up off the board for free a few months ago.
Tires will go on the 72 yard truck.
Good seat will go in the rat rod
The cab is twisted badly from the wreck.......I will cut the roof off it and use it on another 70 rust free cab I have that a tree fell on.

The rest of the good stuff will be removed and put in inventory.

thats what I love about these great trucks, I'm a Camaro fan but thanks to Barrett Jackson you can't buy a junk Camaro for less than $3000. To me a vehicle that is just sitting going to waste and has been for years is not worth a fortune, I don't care what it is, all is well until people start getting over-Capitalistic

I might be able to get a good picture of it.......but when you open the hood and look at the frame on the left side @ the motor mount area.....it looks like a lazy "V"..........Its a gonner!!!!..........I thought about taking a porta power to it and straightening it enough for the wheel to run straight and using it as my yard truck....but i need the bed so she will just have to become a casualty of Atlanta drivers.
Its too bad!!!

Re: Drug home yet another parts truck..1970

I have decided to sell the running gear out of this truck. 250 inline and 3 on the tree. I can help you pull it if you want it. Supposedly ran fine but I have no proof. $400 OBO
