Re: My latest purchase
Yes it's a diesel, and it runs surprisingly well. Got to start getting my 700 put together and in, 4.56 doesn't allow for much highway speed. Actually I bought 4 of them, sold 2 and 1 is getting parted out. Probably shouldn't have but when I got it the intake and pump were laying in the cab and the center valley in the block was a big bird nest. There was a service order that said it had an engine knock which is the reason it's getting parted out. However. After selling some parts of off it, I decided to put it back together and see whether or not this knock really exsisted or not, it did but not from the lower end as I expected, it turned out to be a bad injector which created a very loud diesel ping. 8 new injectors later and some pump timing and it sounds like a million bucks. Wish now I would have did that first.

Re: My latest purchase
Man i would love to have a 4x4 desiel. to bad to many deals aready in the works. I think if i keep getting cars I think my town might start thinking im the local junkyard soon.
Not that they look like crap but three acres and and 15 cars, might be a little bit of a problem.

Re: My latest purchase
I bet. I just like bugging the old lady doen the street that doesnt like me much. Most of the people in town of about 500 people think my antics are funny. Like taking my truck trough town with no exhaust no headers or manifolds, it was a blast. Did it to get some part for the truck.
