72 C20 questions
I have a 72 3/4 ton 2 wheel drive. I few questions. It is a long bed but i want to chop the frame and turn it into a short bed, does anybody know what major problems i would run into or a good way to go about it?
Also i want to go from the 8 lug to the six lug with disk brakes on the front and rear. Are there any kits i can get to do that? Sorry if they are stupid questions... im kinda new to this |

Re: 72 C20 questions
Long beds can be cut down to shortbeds. There are several threads on this, use the search and you will find some with pics.As for the 6 lug conversion,I cant help you.I do have original stuff to convert to 5 lug though.

Re: 72 C20 questions
for what it's worth, you can keep the 8-lug and be a little different. some folks do offer 8-lug rotors (can't remember who) for the front. don't know about comparable rear rotors

Re: 72 C20 questions
I have a 71 c20, i chopped the frame, and left the 8lug. Any local garage sells disc's for the front. I have them on mine, and I also found some reallly nice rims for the 8 log too!
