Brakes!!! New master cylinder and booster finally found the problem with the brake lights staying on- the old trailer braking system, short somewhere in the after market connection, removed everything bled the system down- now I can stop.

Installed a Gaylords custom Fiberglass bedlid and custom bedrug... still needs some fine adjusting to get the fit perfect and the locking mechanism perfect, but 99% done for now. Also detailed the 'vette and took some other 'vette friends to crash a rustang party...

What sucks the most is that I won't be able to get 1/3 of the investment I have in it, back out.
I'm probably up around the 20K mark.

Worked on my '68 a little and finished molding my new gauges into my '47 International.
Began stripping my '68 down as I am going to sell the front suspension off it and swap frames and stuff. |

Put front calipers and pads on the 85... still pulls the the right, so probably should replace the hoses too.

An incomplete project is an even harder sell... I don't know the value of the parts you put into it, so I can't comment on the accuracy. If you can gamble and sit on the truck for some time, then eventually someone will show up; but if you're on a deadline to sell, prepare to feel the pain...

Re: What did you get done? Spring Break-St Patricks edition-03/18
Well, thinking this whole thing over today helped me out a little bit. I decided this... The truck started from nothing and came all this way because of what I made it. Why can't I do the exact same thing in 20 years? I know what I want out of it, I know what final product I have envisioned, that picture will never NEVER leave my head. I can build the exact same truck that I am building now, anytime. My dad's car is gone when it's gone, and I don't really want to see that happen.

Re: What did you get done? Spring Break-St Patricks edition-03/18
GOOD NEWS!
My dad and I had a talk on the phone last night about the whole situation. He told me not to sell the truck and take a huge loss. He assured me that if someone was interested enough to slap down green for the impala, he would come to me first. If I want it then he will work with me to get it. In a nutshell, he promised that the car would not go anywhere without my approval. Nothing would make me happier than to have both vehicles in 30 years, so maybe it'll be a dream come true. With that said, the build continues!
