I just got a pair of 275/60/15 Kumho Road Venture ST's on the rear wheels (15x8 rally's). I previously had Firestone Firehawk Indy500's which I really liked. I went with the Kumho's cause they were cheap, but have been very happy with the performance. I think its a good truck tire, and for $74 a tire from TireRack its a pretty good bang for the buck.

BFGs radial T/A's, I have heard nothing bad about them.

I just replaced some defective T/A's on the front of my '79 Sub with Yokohoma Avid ST's, 255/70-15. They're T-rated, like I'm really gonna drive that tank 118mph, but at least they're rated for it. They seem to handle at least as well as the T/A's, but they cost a little less, and maybe they won't crap out on me like the T/A's did.

I have been running Cooper tires on my trucks. The Goodrich radials were getting eaten up to fast. The Coopers seem to handle the highway speeds real well and last longer.

I have BFG Radial T/As on my truck, only because BFG is the only company who made a 285/70/15. I believe they stopped making them last year actually. My pic would be Cooper Cobras, I like em much better than BFG radial T/As...plus there not owned by a french company. Cooper is still a U.S. Company & the tires are made in the US

I am partial to BFG 255/70/15's on rallys . I use to have 275/60/15's all around on the blue truck and on an 87 Short bed I used to have . They tended to walk the road so I went to the 70's and havent had that problem again . I like the ride and handling and it doesnt hurt that they have the smoothest looking sidewall and tread of just about any tire manufacturer . To anyone that cares , I am pretty sure Coker Tire bought the mold and will continue to offer the BFG Radial T/A . Frank

I actually just installed my used BFG All-Terrain T/A's (from our Pathfinder) onto my 15x8 rallies on a "heavy-half" 2wd. They are 31x10.5 (similar to 265/75 R15). I love the more agressive tread, making the truck look a little "pre-runner(ish)".

Well I liked the bfg's until I had them on my tahoe, they kept seperating - even the spare. I put a set of Michelins xlt's on my suburban best tire I ever had I know I ran them to about 80k miles before zi replaced them. Yes they were a little pricy, well know pretty expensive but man did they last even while I hauled a 26 foot travel trailer. When I bought my 86 michelins were on it with the rally wheels, just wished they had the letters out.

Never ever had problems with BFG's they're kinda bald on my Studey, but that is due to HP/Torque!

Gonig to have to remember that. Going to need a good set and last time i paid about 410 at ntb.

Went to the sit and did the prices got $522.00 out the door for BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A KO Had to use a bazar cause i couldnt find and c 10 or c/k trucks, only s10.

BFG's are good looking tires, but their tread pattern and technologoy in the tires themselves have been the same for a loooong time. There are better tires out there for those who want "handling" for similar prices...but if you just want good looking tires for your cruiser...then BFG's are hard to beat. I have them on my '73...and the previous set were also BFG's.

BTW - this tire info was told to me by my local tire shop when I was shopping for hoops...I trust them and they have always been knowledgable and helpful.

so that beige truck has 255/70 or 275/70
