conversion from ext regulator to internal
I thought my 67 had this done already but it hasn't. What do I need to do for this swap? Is there a part I can get at the parts store for this conversion or is a cutting of a few wires? I know theres' probably a few threads on this already but now I need to do it. Thanks guys.

Re: conversion from ext regulator to internal
I recently did it. Check out this thread. I also referenced the FAQ I used in the first paragraph.
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...ght=alternator I was a little aprehensive at first, but it was seriously ridiculously easy. Just make sure you get the correct alternator.

Re: conversion from ext regulator to internal
Thanks. That looks too easy not to do.

Re: conversion from ext regulator to internal
there is a simple 20.00 kit that requires no cutting. From Brothers it is a 63-72 alternator conversion wiring. part # is AC 27555
