Cool Wrecker

I had an old junk car hauled off today & this was the guys wrecker. He said he's going to have it painted this summer & the bed deck Rhino lined. He said that it was used in the original Gone In 60 Seconds movie. Pretty nice C30

Correct sir, maybe they used that Chevy in the remake, they used this Chevy also in the original or he is mis-informed

Please - no Rhino/Line-X debate
The days of fading are gone, They both used to fade with previous fomulas used

Re: Cool Wrecker

It`s the cold-applied rough texture that sucks with Rhino. The name is stuck in peoples head like Coke for cola. The latter product is such an improvement.

Those are two different Fords there. Were those both shots from the movie?

Re: Cool Wrecker

I like`em all.I want a C/50 rollback...67-72 of course.I got my wrecker to shuffle trucks around and cruise-ins.But a rollback would be awesome for longer hauls.I`d settle for a C/50 wrecker w/dollies.

Re: Cool Wrecker

i was driving home from work about 9:20 a few nights ago & had to get gas. so i pull into the sta. by my house & i just about hit a pump when i saw what was in front of me. it was a rollback that looked to be about a late 1940's or a 1950 chevy truck! i thought hey that is really cool! then as a barely recouperated from that i looked on what was on the back of it & it was a 1970 'cuda that was restored! triple black!! i tried to act calmly as i pulled next to him to fill up. i slowly walked around the car & then looked at the truck. the car was awsome & the truck was really cool. it had a late model chassis under it (ran on diesel) he had a old time name on the side of the truck (don't remember what it read). the cuda was amazing i thought that i might have sled back in time to when i went to barret-jackson this past year. the diff. was all chrome, the exhaust was stainless, he had the g-60 series rubber all the way around & it was all black! just a really gorgous car! i am kicking myself for not atleast trying to talked to the guy & see what the deal was.... i didn't want to seem too nosy...

just thought that i would share .....
