will they fit??

1970 gmc lwb.

i am gettin ready to try and put on 15x 8 ralleys. I know they will fit.

i am gonna put on 295-65-15 bf drag radials that i got a helluva a deal on brand new.

bf goodrich recommends a 8 to 10 rim for these tires so im not worried about mountin them up.

my question is do you guys think these rims and tires will put under the stock wheel well, without modifying the tub. i really dont want to cut the bed up.

so let me know what you guys think. thanks

You shouldn't have any problem mounting

a 295 tire under the stock rear wheel well. I'm running a 275 now on a 10" with 5" back spacing rim and have plenty of room to spare. You should be good-to-go. I would recommend using a wider rim later on if you can. A 295 on an 8" rim is pretty much maxed out, IMO.

Re: will they fit??

hey guys i got the tires mounted on my new rims and mounted on the truck. i have about a 1 1/2 on the inside before hitting the well. and about 1/2 around the wheel lip. looks awesome IMO. check out picks under the 67-72 truck board on the site. labeled under new wheels and tires.

thanks guys
