Last night, I hooked up an iPOD in the wifes benz... had to replace the fuse for the cig. lighter (never worked and we never used)... I found a spare 15A fuse next to the regular block with a few others so I pulled it and slipped it in. All was well and Momma was happy as a clam. This morning she left on a full day of errands and called shortly afterwards - she had no blinkers. When she got back, she said no wipers either.... The manual showed all the stuff that didn't work ran through fuse #41 - well, that slot was empty... WTH??? I started tracing out where I had power and where I didn't.... I went to the interior fuse panel and noticed a few spares there.... then I remembered what I did last night.... I pulled a good fuse that was being USED and... well, ... she's on her way now..... I need some ginko.....

truck died halfway to work. pulled over, parked it, and caught a bus. later, when showing pictures of my weekend work to a friend (new alternator install) i zoomed in closer, only to see i had forgot to attach the positive wire to the alternator. At least it was a great laugh to start the day.

Da wheres my pen? Worst one was thinking the wifes car battery was dead and was trying to jump it with a ATV. Then I realized with a standard car you have to push the clutch in to start the new cars. Doe..
