predator carb ?
anybody ever ran one of these?? looks like a big toilet bowl to me but they say they will only use what cfm your engine needs? sounds to simple to me..

Not exactly the best carb for daily driving. The idea of the carb is great... they've used the same setup(variable venturi) on mid 80's ford v8's. Called the VV and what a pain in the arse it was lol.

Ran one on my 350 for a summer. It took a long time to set up properly, but it ran wonderfully. The only thing!! It looks like a toilet and my gas mileage went that way also. So I sold it to a racer. But it was fun to play with. The new ones may be better for street use.

I talked to a guy that had one on a 350 in a 57 chevy. He said it worked well and that he got about 16mpg. He also said that they won't idle in gear with an automatic. That's all I have ever heard about them though.

I ran one on a 66 chevelle a while back. Kind of cool. Don't get one without the idle circuit. Good luck.
