Led problems

I have led from early classic on my truck. I purchased them about a year ago. I have been having problem with my tail lights not working and then working again. I replaced the wiring from the firewall back and also a new headlight switch. I find out today that the resistors at the bottom of the leds have come off and thats the problem. I'm a littled steamed not because I purchased those parts because I needed them, but because the most expensive part is the one thats broke.

Has anyone else had problems with those leds? Im going to call them tomarrow and see what they say but Im not holding my breath on anything great.

Re: Led problems

if I rememberr right, there was a problem with the early units they had, and the actual ppl who made them, and they repaired/replaced them.

Re: Led problems

The only problem I have with mine is that the turn signals dont work with the headlights on.

Re: Led problems

My understanding is those had some issues. You might PM Frank (PICKMUP) and ask him what the issues were with those tail lights as he is where I heard about the issue.

I just installed the new LED tail lights being sold by musclerodz.com (board member/vendor) for $49. They don't fewer, but much larger LED bulbs. The lenses are also sealed to the LED unit and molded to refract the light from each bulb.
