Hello everyone, I am the proud owner of a 1972 swb cheyenne, and my son has a 1969 swb that we just recently finished. On my truck I would like to move the gas tank under the bed, and would like to know how much trouble it is to do this, as of now it has a metal bed, but i am going to remove this and install a wooden one. Any help on this matter would be appreciated.

Welcome aboard.......I'd say go to the search button and do some lookin' around. I'm sure there is all kinds of info on moving the tank under the bed. You'd probably use a tank and straps for a blazer. My uncle did that to his 72 swb 4x4. He hinged the rear drivers marker light and put the filler behind it. He just filled in the hole for the factory tank. Looks pretty sweet.

Welcome to the board from South Mississippi! Check the FAQ Index link in my sig, I'm pretty sure their's a write up on the Blazer tank (under bed).

Welcome to the board from Western Kentucky. Go to Early Classic Enterprises. They have the set up for your truck in stock. I know you have to remove the one bar that goes between the frame that was part of the spare tire mount. Their Web site is: earlyclassic.com
