Steering column questioN????

Ive been looking at ididit (or idiot as my wife calls it) and flamming river, and I have came to this conclusion, "holey $hit steering columns are not cheap". Now you might remember I got a cadi telescoping/tilt column out of the junk yard but its going to take some work to fab some type of bracket, to adapt the cadi column in there.and I don't have the resources to do that at the moment. So here is the question, what year of truck/make and model would be the easiest to put in my 63 that has tilt?

Re: Steering column questioN????

I just put a 72 column in mine just get rag joint off same melt or drill out plastic and adjust length was almost direct bolt in you may have to weld some nut to secure to inside bracket.I put a 1/4 rubber shim under the bracket and tighten it up works great.
