Question Manual to Auto swap question

Anyone ever convert a 3 speed manual column to shift an automatic?
I'm trying to keep my truck as "orriginal" looking as possible and would like to swap a 700r4 for the 3 speed and keep the stock column and shifter in my '63.
Thanks

I did that. I used a lokar shift linkage kit and a stick on gear sector indicator. Works just fine. I had pics, but have since deleted them. And right now I am in Kansas and my 65 is in Oklahoma, where I am moving to. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/LOKAR...spagenameZWDVW http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/STREE...QQcmdZViewItem Hope this helps.
