Here is what a $100 paint job looks like
sherwin williams industrial primer $35, paint $30, reducer $18, sandpaper $17. Took me the last couple weekends to do the prep work, and shot the paint today. Came out really good for my first time painting. Didnt get any runs or orange peel. looks good for a daily driver and cheap paint.

Re: Here is what a $100 paint job looks like
I did the same type thing except I used rustolem from homedepot. $25 for primer and $25 for color. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=234229

Re: Here is what a $100 paint job looks like
Looks GR8. I see you decided to keep the cargo hold downs in the bed for now, I remember you asking about how to best do away with them.
BTW speaking of color whats the new member color kinda teal green for a few of you guys that used to be orange rage'nrat638 1969k10stepside centsless to name a few? Just wondering? Sorry about the hijack. Rj22

Re: Here is what a $100 paint job looks like
That's a great job. I need to take a whack at that as well. What grit sandpaper did you use?

Re: Here is what a $100 paint job looks like
I didnt use anything below 120grit because i wasnt going to use a high build primer, and then went to 180grit. primered and then 400 grit, then paint. I will post some more pics when i get the grill and bumper back on.
