Desktop Dyno help...
I know this is an engine/drivetrain question but only one response over there (thanks messed up c-10).
Could someone with Desktop Dyno crunch these numbers for me? It's not fast but there is torque a-plenty! Misc: 400 SB .060 over (413ci) Headers (1.5in diam.) Flowmaster mufflers (40 series?) TPI Heads (#3998993): Flow 150.8 int/ 91.1 exh Diam. 2.02 int/ 1.60 exh 75cc chamber Induction: 52mm Throttlebody flows 790CFM Cam (Comp Cams HE268): Dur. @ .050 218 (268 advertised lift) Lift .454 1.52 lift roller rockers Pistons: dished .060 over (4.185 bore) C/R 8.5:1 (?) Am I missing anything?.. Thanks!

I used 882 heads with 8.5-1 C/R..260hp @4000 and 400ftlbs of torque @2500 rpm..the C/R is way low for power and the tpi is to small....

no it doesent have that function..but the 400 I had on file had 10-1 CR and a 900 cfm tpi..and the hp was around 375 and torque at 440......

Thanks for the help, with compression at 10:1 I would need to run higher octane gas... I wonder if bumping the C/R up to 9 or even 9.5:1 would make much difference and still allow me to use the lower test gas? Anyway it's good to have a general idea of the throttle body this engine can handle...
Looks like a Desktop Dyno purchase is in my near future

Just for a compression ratio comparison...my current setup with Vortec heads and an original flat-top bottomend gives me 10:1 compression or so (possibly as high as 10.2:1). DD2K says it's good for about 250hp/250 lb/ft. Dropping it to 9.0:1 makes it 235/238 at the same RPMs.
