Re: 63 progress pics

looks good. r u going to to put the bed back on or do something else back there? also i noticed the heater parts are gone. are you taking it out, or putting a different system in? im asking because im fixing to switch my body over to a 4x4 frame, and while its off im going to do alot of small things and some big. and one of those things is i would like to move the heater core someplace else because in my opinion it sure is ugly sittin there when you open the hood. just wondering. and again... good job, keep up the good work and keep us posted.

Re: 63 progress pics

I don't know if he actually removed it, he could have the basic heater which is located under the dash. The unit you're referring to that mounts to the firewall in the engine compartment is the deluxe heater option.

Re: 63 progress pics

Not to steal this thread or change the subject, but what's the difference between the regular heater and the deluxe? Nice work by the way!

Re: 63 progress pics

What is your bed? Fleet or Step side? I have a step side 63 with a 71 rear end. I am trying to figure my back and front spacing for the same size wheels that you have. How is your front tire clearance if you know yet?

Re: 63 progress pics

hi there,im getting them hand built because to import them to nz from sanderson headers in the us they will cost about $700 nz dollars landed here so cheaper to make them.Google search "sanderson headers" and you will find bbc block huggers they make for this application, the product code for the headers is BB4

Re: 63 progress pics

To those who click on Mr.Attitude`s link above in post #19..The video was greatly appreciated. What you won`t see is the crude comment he made that was edited. Then,it was his actions beyond that that got him banned.
What do you think of that signature?BTW,that question is a quote from me.He can back and posted three times in less than five minutes(note his 3 posts). He`s on a mission in his own mind.It seems his posts are more about the signature and heading under his user name. This site is great and it`s amazing how rare it is that "problems" like him arise.I truly believe he prolly just got off on the wrong foot and "could have" been just another guy if he could have contained his`tude.I just want to check out trucks and I sure like this one.Although I`ve been hopelessly stuck on 67/72s and have only owned one 60/66,I really dig this style and want one bad.The`66 I owned was sold because of money matters.I really miss that truck.
