I didn't want to ruin the truck or mess with the Chevy truck gods by cutting a perfect cowl so I did this. It's not really that noticable IMO and works very well. It's just a single piece mast 29 inches.

Has anyone installed one of the Metra 44UA20 hidden antennas?

It looks like a perfect solution to cleaning up the cowl.
