Disc Brake just wondering?

Hi all
I know a lot of guys have converted to Disc brakes either by doing the full crossmember swap or by just the control arm and spindals, I am wondering if anyone has ever been able to change over by finding some disc caliper brackets that would work on the original spindals? I have a 64 GMC the front end is tight and in good condition. Does anyone make brackets so you can use your original spindals and just buy rotors and calipers? Thanks
Ang

If you wish to retain your stock spindles, try Performance On Line. Here's a link for reference:

hey thanks for the link restorick, i checked it out they also sell the the caliper mounting brackets with bearings, seals and bolts seprate for $149 they mount 79-86 malibu calipers and 69-72 11 inch chevelle rotors. Its definatley another cool cheap way to go. But what if you wanted to keep the 6 stud wheels, these brackets probably wouldn't work right?

I beleive that they offer a six lug rotor. I'm not sure, I decided to just buy the kit from ECE. I was very pleased with the results.
