how low

does any body know how low can i go with the stock leafs on my gmc i wanna lower but dont want to c-notch or convert to trailing arms does ay body know?

You should be able to go 4-5" on the leaf suspension without notching. At 5" drop, you will be pretty close on the axle to frame clearance (as far as hauling any heavy loads). My longhorn frame is a little different than a standard longbed, but i have flipped the axle & relocated brackets to give about 5" drop. I have 2 3/4-3" tween the frame & axle......

i removed all but 3 leafs on my truck and I have about 2.5 inches between the rubber bouncer and frame.
