Let's see some Modified Tailgates
Because of my previous camper , I had NO tailgate,
but went ahead & lowered my 67 3/4 ton.,.. I then looked around to see what else mischief I could get into.. I think I found it..... problem is : * our bed openings is 65 ".... * Suburb, double doors measure just 60 inches... *red is used for clarity of idea ...( my truck is white ) I figure most interest is spent on the other 90% of the truck, & shy of welding the t-gate shut or using a cargo net...? just lookin for some other ideas.. THANKS MUCH -41-

Re: Let's see some Modified Tailgates
anybody used one of those honda tailgates that flip down and out? Flip down like a normal tailgate, but also swing out like a door. Thats the best way i can think to describe it.

Re: Let's see some Modified Tailgates
I'm with palf70step. Bought my first New truck in 1995 a Toyota T-100 2nd week I had it somebody decided it needed a size 13 shoe print right on the left side of the tail gate handle. Drove it that way till I sold it in 2000.
