Twas the night before Rice-mas

'Twas the night before Christmas and caught at the light,
Was a domestic V8 and no cops in sight,

I will try, I will try, I will try with this small motor,
To beat this darn 73-87, even with its big blower,

As the light goes green and I pull like no joke,
The 73-87 erupts in clouds of tire smoke,

Now Smasher, now Rev-ver, now Stroker, now Blitzin,
These are the names of my four VTEC pistons,

Racing ahead I'm the star of the action,
But I know I'm in trouble when that V8 gets traction,

Grabbing second, I hear the RPM sing,
My mirror is blocked by my shopping cart wing,

I now hear the roar, of that big monster gaining,
All I can do is keep that four banger straining,

In a second, the shockwave hits with a blast,
And my stickers go flying now, a thing of the past,

Don't bother with third, cause now its too late,
Just try to act cool, like you can relate,

Looking up at the taillights as they get smaller,
The driver backs off just to give me a holler,

"You can't win them all," he says in a fling,
"You may not win any, in that silly thing."

I smiled and revved as he pulled out of sight,
With my new mods tomorrow..... it will be a better night.

I know its a dupe probably....but still funny
Notice I made it topic appropriate!! hehe

Pretty cool. I like.

Although I must admit our truck would probably need a blower to keep up with these tiny pieces of tin.

I remember a thread on a Corvette forum where a guy come barging in bragging about his Honda. One of the preppy vette owners stuck his foot in his mouth and told him his car was crap, in other words. They ended up running each other and the vette guy got his arse stomped.

Crow really tastes bad they say. I don't know myself, just what I've been told. I've never stuck my foot in my mouth.

LMFAO!!!

That guy in the Vette that got whooped on by the Honda lives a couple towns away from me.

The Honda was turbocharged, and the guys vette was pretty much stock if I remember correctly. Even still, he shouldn't have stuck his foot in his mouth.....I can't think about that without laughing and picturing Daves jungle feet!

The ricers around here are like flies!! I beat them down on a regular basis...not to many serious ones here though.

One night...we were all around talking in a parking lot...I had just told everyone about this little punk in a Fixed up Integra that I laid the smack down on.....about 10 min later, this kid walks up....hey...who owns that truck???....I say me...everyone wonders why.....he says..."Damn man you kicked my (*&$^%#@*) Arse!! hahahaah
THe whole parking lot erupted in laughter~~ !! haha
