New Member 72 Truck
Hello Everyone,
Just a new member here wanting to say hello, I just bought my first classic Chevy and picked it up last Friday. 72 C20 Cheyenne super, lwb fleet side 400 bb t-400 4:10 posi rear, and I love it. Growing up my older brother had a 71 that I have a few memories of. This one went up for sale in my neighbor hood and I scooped it up for what I thought was a very good deal. $4500.00 she fires with a bump of the starter and runs great. Minus needing new tires, the previous owner only put 15k on it in 10 years of ownership and a new windshield. I only found 2 small rust spots. (Not including a bit of surface rust on the armrest on the door and under the hood.) And he replaced the original wood bed with plywood do to age and rot. I can't find anything that a weekend of TLC can't cure. Well I know this is long so I will cut it and add some pics. I love the board and all the knowledge. I look forward to adding if I can, yet probably asking more questions in the end. Thanks.
