Re: WTT for 67-72 4x4 K-5,K-10,K-20,
gotta be a truck? I have a '99 Avalon (nice car needs front end fixed up), 88 mazda MX-6 (only needs fuel filter and paint) and a '77 Z w/Fuel Inj. 6(ROUGH).... (I even have pics of all 3)... I'd like a chevelle or a GT but the wife says no more... gotta get rid of some first... hahahaha... just thought I'd throw it out there...

Re: WTT for 67-72 4x4 K-5,K-10,K-20,
Lets see those Chevelle pics. This truck has a wore out 327 that smokes. The body is straight and rust free. I bought it off ebay last year. It came out of Nabraska, originally a California truck. I might be interested in the Chevelle, you could keep the motor and trans. I have a built 396 and T.H.400 that could go in the car.

Re: WTT for 67-72 4x4 K-5,K-10,K-20,
I new you would say that. Alright heres the deal on the chevelle I bought it with a blowed up 350 i removed it to see if it was repairable but the block was busted from a rod so i bought a bada$$ 406 roller/aluminum heads and made a deal with a friend who wanted a car trailer that i had. I would give him the trailer to do 2 motor swaps for me, so i dropped the car and the motor but when he started working on the motor he found some broken pushrods so we decided to check the motor out and found out the balencer/crank-snout was wallowed out so i put together a 388 out of the leftovers from the 350 and a shortblock that i ran across. this took a few months.that was about 2 years ago and the car is sitting in his shop with 2 years of dust and junk sitting on it he said he would have it going by the end of april but who knows here are the only pictures i have. i was reluctant to post them because the first impression deal so please look past the dust and junk thanks Mike

Re: WTT for 67-72 4x4 K-5,K-10,K-20,
Hey Mike,
Looks like a pretty decent car. That motor and trans would go nice in the blue 4X4. Is the car an automatic or 4-speed? What are your thoughts? I'm in Austria until May 15th then I will be back in Manassas, Va.

Re: WTT for 67-72 4x4 K-5,K-10,K-20,
Jim, i would rather get it cleaned up and take more pictures as well as see more pictures of your truck before we strike a deal.I would rather sell or trade it complete but selling it as a roller is a possibility. What trans/transfer is in your truck? and does it still have the closed knuckle front? Does it have p/s p/b and a/c

Re: WTT for 67-72 4x4 K-5,K-10,K-20,
It has no p/s, p/b, or a/c. It does still have the closed knuckle front. It has a 350 trans and I'm not sure what case it has. I am in Austria until May 15th so I can't get any pictures of it right now. I also have my project truck I could throw in, it is in pieces right now. It's a '71 2 wheel drive LWB. I'll enclude a before (together pic) and after, project in pieces.

Re: WTT for 67-72 4x4 K-5,K-10,K-20,
The '71 2 wheel drive has 2 1/2 " drop spindles and 2" springs in the front and 5" drop springs in the back. I had a 350 H.O. in it with a t.h 400 but I took it out to replace them with a talldeck 427 and an M21 4-speed. It has the 12 bolt rear, 8" truck rallies with 275/60 15's BF Goodrich on the back 7" Truck rallies with 255/70 15's on the front. The 427 I have is a shortblock and needs to be built. I got it from a guy in Georgia. I want to keep the 4-speed but I'll let the motor go with it. I have 2 new Goodmark door shells for it with no glass or workings in them.
The '68 4X4 was originally a 4-speed truck but someone put the automatic in it. The engine has a power steering pump bolted to it and I have a power steering box for it. It came with the truck when I bought it. The paint is nice but the body prep sucks making the paint look half assed. It has the original 327 in it but it smokes real bad (rings, seals, guides, who knows). The body is straight and rust free. There is a spot in one of the doors that can be fixed. It has the wooden bed, wood is solid but aged. I will get some pics of it when I get back to the states if you are interested.
