Desperately seeking 72 Chev, aka Truckless
Hello everyone, my name is Warren and I am both a new member and truckless, in Calgary, Aberta, Canada.
I went to look at a 72 GMC 1/2 ton today with a LS7 GM crate motor, running on propane, hence my user name, ooops. Unfortunately the truck was not exactly as advertised. Therefore, my username is not exactly as advertised either. Who said that we live in a perfect world? Anyways, I have always longed for a 67-72 Chevy truck and I am still looking. Patience seems to be a quality that I came to this life equipped with, which I think may be the reason why I have spent thousands of hours of my spare time fixing my own or other peoples vehicles. Of course my own always seem to come last. Although I do not currently own a truck, I promise that it will happen way sooner rather than later. I am currently driving a rwd Olds Cutlass which I have deemed to be scrap yard material before winter, hence the need for a truck which is not a basket case. I also have a 72 Buick Skylark with 81,000 original miles which is currently waiting for a rear 1/4 panel, due to a body shop who liked to use gallons of body filler rather than massaging metal. My current project is restoring a 1968 Plymouth Roadrunner for a buddy at work. New trunk extensions and outer wheelhouses are welded on and after the interior floor and trunk are primed, the new 1/4 panels will be welded on. As you can see, I am not currently in need of another project. Well, this is getting really long winded, so once again, Hello from Canada and the gods be willing, not truckless for long. |

Thanks Shane, by the way just how big is that acreage where you park all those trucks of yours.
Now I have to change my name to envious. |
