Mini-Monster is back in the game!
Yep, finally got her running again tonight. The Q-jet with the messed-up jets/rods combo and not-quite-functioning dual-stage accel pump got replaced by a 4165 Holley 650cfm double-pumper, and stock cast iron intake got replaced by an aluminum dual-port Offenhauser 360 beast, total cost for the upgrades was less than $200. Results - truck fires right up with the choke not even halfway closed, runs much smoother, has plenty of power, and still sucks gas like nobody's business Now it only needs an exhaust and it'll be all good to go! Pics to follow soon, probably tomorrow.
