I am a 73-87 guy but have owned a couple of 71 trucks in the past . I came across a 72 CST 4 wheel drive blazer I might be interested in buying . It hasnt run in several years but is suppose to have 85,000 miles . It is rusty in the body tub . The truck would probably need a new tub . How hard are they to find ? The blazer has factory air , tilt, no tach , 3.73 gears and posi ,automatic trans on the glovebox tag and it is all there. It is all complete and what I would call very straight but sat outside and has rusted where the top meets the quarters and in other places . I dont have a way to get pics of it and I know that would help but what would be a good price for a complete blazer that nees everything ? Frank

we need to see pics to make a good guess. But judging from your description it sound pretty rough. I wouldn't pay more than 500.00 for it if it is as rusty as i sounds.

I paid $600 for one in similar condition, but it had $300 worth of wheels/tires on it.

x3, $1G tops, and that's if I parted it out (A/C, Tilt, Posi, Etc.......)

Rust free tubs are harder to find than rust free complete trucks. $1,000 max just because if it is complete, you could part and make your money back plus some. $500 would be more in reason.

Even with rust i'd probably pay a little more due to the fact that it's complete say like 1500 but I wouldn't offer that much up front. Say 500 and see what happens. You might be surprised what some people think their stuff is worth.

I would say $1,000 maybe a little more. It is complete and original. Rust free tubs are very hard to find. These things will only continue to go up in value. Goodmark shops said we hang new sheetmetal on cars 5 yrs ago would have gone to the junkyard.

I paid $700.00 for mine and it needed floors, doors and a bed. Just saw a rust free tub in the classified, I think in the midwest, so they are out there. If your talented, goodmark helps. Tops $1000.00 for it. JMHO
