3/4 ton suspension- 1/2 ton suspension

got my eye on a 3/4 ton truck. Its an 86. Suspension wise what is the major difference between the 3/4 ton and 1/2 ton. Heavier duty leafs????

Are 3/4 tons alot more hassle to bag for shops or it doesnt make a difference. Its got a 383 stroker balanced and blueprinted and pushes over 400 horsepower. 373 gears new rootbeer colour paint tranny is redone. Truck is mint. He said dring about 20 miles an hour he slams it down and she rips rubber immediately.

My question is whats the difference all around..

Its a lot easier to drop a rear coil spring truck no doubt about it. Since its newer though I think you have more options than us 72 under crowd.
