i am fixin to order my lift and do i need a steering stabilizer and drop arm?

how much lift? @ 4"+ I would do a steering arm or dropped pitman (helps reduce bumpsteer) and if you are running wide tires and/or over 33" then add a steering stabilizer setup.... Or do crossover steering and don't worry about it... How did those rims work out for ya?

Double steering stabilizer mounted opposing each other for the push/pull effect.I`ve always done this and only see others do this with the horizontal design(That`s the only way with those).But,even a stacked Rancho set-up is best that way.They are dual-action shocks,but this still has got to be more effective I think.

i am looking at buying the 4" rough country with rear blocks, front leafs, shocks, dual stabilizer(not sure how set-up is), steering arm for $550 shipped --i may also buy brake hoses--i run 33x12.5 now on 10" wheels i bought from "msgross"(by the way they work awesome) does anyone see a better deal or something else i need ?? thanks

were do ya'll get your dual steering stabilizer and will a blazer dual set up work on a 1/2 ton?

Those dual setup are pretty universal. One brackets clamps to the axle tube and the ends of the stabilizers clamp to the tie rod. I sold one on here a few months ago...

ok i called rough country today and they told me 2 months till they would have front leafs so i said "i'd like to have my money back thank you" i called a local shop said i am looking for a 4" lift he said come see me tommorow i'll order it now he got me a 4" super lift and steering arm and dual stabilzer and shocks for like $600 i think he said and he over nights it and i can hold it tommorow install it this weekend and be broken by monday

its a work in progress i wanna do body work all in one shot then paint but motor first i wanna put my late model 2500 truck 350ci in first tehn body but its all a process and this one is funded poorly

ya i bought them dirt cheap and i think they look decent thanks for the wheels i need to clean them up ,they weight a ton too by the way

but

the ride is a little stiff but i'm hoping it breaks in and i need to adjust stabilizers no more u turns till i do and

I used a cheap puller made to do the job from harborfraight tools I paid $6 for it.

I beat the snot out of one before and then drilled on the cone washers a little (no recommended!) and ruined the studs. I won but inflicted a little damage on the knuckle...it was junk anyway...

i've actually got a broken stud in my 44. damn cone washer still wont come loose. will the knuckle come off without removing the arm? if it will, i'll take it to work and hit it with some heat.

the knuckle will come off after you remove the hub, spindle, axle shaft then loosen the ball joint nuts and knock the entire knuckle downward.
