non-tilt indicator problem?
I just bought a non tilt auto column for my 72 - it's on the way now but I just found out the indicator was broken so it got tossed.... I was thinking the needle itself but the seller said I "could have a black one and paint it...." I wanted to stay all original blue color - not paint to match. Here's the questions:
How big a deal is it to; A) replace a broken indicator? B) replace the indicator plate? I did search the FAQ and tried searching this forum but found only stuff on tilts and mentions of indicators but no specifics or pics. Any and all info/pics is much appreciated. Thanks.

Re: non-tilt indicator problem?
The indicator and the plate both remove very easily. The indicator is held on by 1 screw and then it just slides back and twists out. The plate is just held on by two screws. So, changing this out will be no problem.
Not sure where you might find the original blue ones though. I bet someone has a used one on here for sure. |

Thanks Orange - I'm starting to feel better now... not that I have to get one, but that I should be able to do it easily.... time will tell.. HA!

Re: non-tilt indicator problem?
Just so you know, the indicators are all black regardless of interior color-
