Portland Swap meet

Not sure if I'm going yet or not, I have my daughter this weekend (she's 8) & not sure If I can talk her into it yet or not, it looks like alot of rain for this weekend so far, I just wanted to offer to lend someone my 10' X 10' easy up if they need something to help keep them dry. Also how are we gonna recognize each other out there? I would love to meet some board members, but if it's crappy out, I doubt I will drive my truck, it's nice & clean & dry at the moment.

Re: Portland Swap meet

Does anyone have a place to put things we buy on the first day so we dont leave them on the back of a truck?

Hey Cooters if you can't find a secure place to hide your goodies at the meet, my house is only 9 minutes away, I can hold onto anything you need me to, our place is very private. IF I didn't have so much going on this weekend I would throw a big BBQ, Meat, Beer & Trucks.

Re: Portland Swap meet

I'm coming back Friday night. So if you have stuff that can fit into the back of my Equinox I'll gladly haul it back Seattle way and you can pick it up upon your return/pass through. I'm only going to look for a carb and manifold, so I should have some space.

There's another thread on this in the northwest area, but in case they never cross, what are everybody's stay/play plans? I'm heading down Thursday night, not sure where I'm staying. If enough folks are doing the same, perhaps there's one place we can agree on meeting up (since a bunch of folks are obviously staying in their own beds).
