Has any one ever tried sand blasting a master cylinder and booster? I'm a little hesitant on the booster, because it's 2 pieces "clamped" together, (for lack of a better term). On the master, I'm thinking that if I plug the ports well, and keep the cap on, I might be ok. These are new parts that I used bad paint on the first time, so I'm not at all happy with the out come.

I wouldn't blast them if it were me. That sand gets everywhere. Try paint stripper on the master cylinder and then a wire brush to scrape the paint off of it and then water maybe. I would do the same thing to the booster or just plain sanding on the booster.

If they are in anyways older parts with years of use on them...it might be better off to just replace them with new "clean" parts..
