As low as she will go.
I have been wondering just how low it would sit if it where aired out with bags, so I decided I would answer my own question. Sorry for the crappy pics.

Re: As low as she will go.
Yeppers, except for wheel diameter it looks pretty close to mine
Just curious, did you measure center of wheel well to ground?

That isn't a respectable amount of drop. I'll do you a favor and take that disgrace off your hands. Please deliver it to my house...
Looks great. I'm just jeleous. Someday I'll have a bagged 2wd and I hope it is as nice as yours.

Re: As low as she will go.
I guess it is a shame that it is going to be tore apart. We put our house on the market today so I hope to be in a new pad with a shop in a couple of months or I will have to take it back over to my dads when he gets done with the vette. It's not in bad shape and is a hell of a lot nicer than some cars and trucks at the shows but I want it to be a trailer queen quality that will get the **** drove out of it. I think I will just do the tubular arms up front and notch for the pumpkin in the rear and that will tuck the tire on the back. I can't really see doing a step notch on mine and cutting the fenders. It should be enough to break me with tubular arms, the 1/2 top, bed cover, escalde engine, 4l60e, powder coated frame, and new paint with 2 tone. I hope to have it back on the road by next summer.

Re: As low as she will go.
A lot of days I wished I had never seen it becasue I have about 20k in it now and I will have at least 28 to 30K in it when it is done. Damn that sounds like way too much but I am glad I made the purchase since it gives me something to do with my dad and brother since they are hot rodders.
I hope you get one to but it wouldn't take a lot to be nicer than mine. |

Re: As low as she will go.
Damn, after reading that maybe I should just de-chassis "GQ" since it is perfect.
It would save me a hell of alot in the long run, just can't bring myself to do it

Re: As low as she will go.
I would love to have GQ, maybe one day I can have me a 4x4 also. Take the body off GQ and put on your 2wd and put the body off the 2wd on GQ and have a 4x4 you can take out and play with. Just a thought.

Re: As low as she will go.
That is what I would do if I where in your shoes. You could take 2wd GQ out and do some trail riding or sling some mud, then come home and get in 4wd body 2wd and go to shows and burn rubber etc etc etc. Damn does that make sense?
