Plug wire display ideas

Just finished putting in some Taylor 8mm's (red ones). I left lots of slack in order to do something nice with them. I've got some basic looms and stuff, but before I installed them I thought I would turn here and see what ideas you all had for dress-up.

Here's what I'm working around (Wires are the old ones. And, yes, I know the breather is missing ):

stock routing behind the heads and under the manifolds is neat and almost unseen

Re: Plug wire display ideas

couple years ago i bought a set of "Made For You" wire looms, and I have since put them on every vehicle i own.

they have kits to route your wires any way you like, and I have never seen anything else that has a cleaner look. http://www.made4uproducts.com/wire_looms.htm

I vote vertically along the valve cover.

Every time I see these I wonder... Why would you want to route your wires so they push forward & lay right on the headers? They look nice, but Id have to "tweak" them a little. I like zip ties the best. CHEAP!

Re: Plug wire display ideas

That picture is a bad example, considering SBC heads only have two bolts , so the routing is different, and laying on the header would be no issue

When i get home I'll post a pic of mine. they clamp down nice and tight so routing away from the headers is no issue.

the pic was purely to show one of the looms itself.

I have a set of Billet Specialties looms ... pain in the ass to get the wires in them and the top on, but once done they make for a clean/hidden look.

Re: Plug wire display ideas

Those dang manifolds are some beasts. Even with slack I'm finding it tough to do anything other than tuck 'em away. Would still like to see more pics (just because I can't see enough pics of any truck) ...

Re: Plug wire display ideas

Thanks all. Went with down under. Would show a picture, but they are kinda hidden. Now, if only they were wrapped around some of the engines shown above ...
