Here is a concept of mine that i did based of the terrydyne concept from about two years ago. It is based of our series trucks. What do yall think???

Its cool, until you look at the grill, looks waay to much like a new ford...with the little blue badge in the middle of the honey-comb grill...its scaring me

bgb is there a way you can photoshop a good side view with masks or layers so that you can change colors of each section like on a two tone truck with white center band to other colors and not lose reflections?-- ie not just use a single color fill for each section.I am not well enough versed in photoshop or autocad to perform this operation but would love to play with color schemes and not have it look like it was just single colored fill

i think it kinda looks like the newer ford chevy and dodge all rolled into one truck. i dont really like any of the newer body styles at all

Hmmm...does look like a frod grille doesnt it...maybe this crosspiece would help...some, if not ill give it another try tommarow.


Solver:

To do that you must use the polygonal lasso tool.

1.You select the aera you want to change, (you will know youve selected something by the "marching ants" around the object"

2.Go to Image, adjustments, then Hue and saturation. There you change the Hue feature to what ever color you want with the sliders.

This is the easiest way to do it. There are other ways such as air brushing and stuff like that that require a lot of work to get it to look right.

thanks for the info. I'll give that a try. Is there any way of saving multiple selections so that you don't have to lasso every time for each section?I have tried lasso but my hand isn't steady enough to follow contour lines with mouse (Ie layers)?
Sorry bout all the questions but you actually sound like you know how to run this program. Besides it's kind of a quiet night on the board

If i understand you question correctly, i think all you need to do is click and hold down the mouse button on the lasso icon, that will give you three options: lasso, polygonal lasso, and magnetic lasso.

Choose the polygonal lasso

That should allow you to select a section using multiple mouse clicks (not one continuious mouse click). To select something you must end at the point where you started. Does that make sense?

I don't really care for it. Looks like a Cadillac truck. This is the direction Cadillac has gone. Too many sharp angles. Although you did great taking off those flat fender wells and putting on some side markers.
