PCV, oil consumption?
ok heres the deal my instructure and i have been discussing this for a few days we agree that we can't really see the problem with it, what we have been discussing is that my 283 runs a draft tube on the back of the crank case to vent pressure, basically 50's pcv system, and we figure since i run a pcv valve i should be able to remove draft tube from the back of the motor and block off the hole with a freeze plug of the same size , i already run a operational pcv system, we figure this could be causing my slight oil consumption, we don't really see any problem by doing this be cause an operational pcv system will vent better than a draft tube,
