parts supply
i was wondering were most of you guys get your parts at like (brothers, chevy duty, lmc, year one, etc.) for quality parts what was service like price and anything you would like to add just let me know thank you

it really depends...
I always check the site supporters first (brothers, GMC Pauls, Mar-K, etc).

ther are may vendors on this site who have outstanding customer service, are extremely knowledgable and who usually will give board members a discount of around 10 to 15%
There is a vendor list on the board somewhere

My preferance is GMCPauls. The service is excellent, the parts are quality and the prices are fair. They are/will be my first place to check and would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone. The vendors on this board seem to actually care about their customers and should always be looked at first.

I prefer GMCPaul's and Early Classic Enterprises myself... I had a small issue with GMCPauls, he was very sincere about his apology, and assured me it wouldn't happen again, I will buy my stuff from him from then on, my Chassis stuff I get from ECE.
Although everybodies gotta have a LMC book, it's very helpful for looking at, I just don't buy from them, well maybe a t-shirt I think... everything else I look for used on the board parts section...

You're in Oklahoma? I use Kennys trucks in Tulsa. Kenny McLennahan. I've been buying from him for 13 years. Good guy, goes to all the swap meets too.

thanks i have mostly ordered my stuff from brothers but i am helping a friend build a truck and we priced interior stuff same things from 2 differ places and there was a $256 price differ i was wondering if there is that big of a differ is quality ive bought stuff in okc I-35 and never get good service and my opinion is there stuff is junk

I've used LMC, GMCPauls, and Manes truck parts. If you're buying on the internet, buy from another state so you don't pay state sales tax. I actually had a real good experience with Manes, I forgot that since they were in Missouri I had to pay sales tax and I was using a gift certificate. I just ordered up to the amount of the certificate, and they forgave the state sales tax as a "christmas gift". I thought that was awesome and will use them again. I'm usually broke though so I shop around a lot for parts and calculate shipping charges in there too so I get the best price. All in all, I've had good experiences with everyone I've ordered parts from.

I like to deal with Atheys Truck Parts. Bill is out of Front Royal, Va. a 45 minute drive if I need something and he is a hell of a nice guy. Good prices and great service. He knows these trucks inside and out.

I go to swap meets to save $$$$$$$$$$ on parts and shipping. You can usually save 10-15% on the parts and of course, all the shipping costs.
I've purchased from GMCPauls Brothers Christian's Classics Classic Heartbeat All offer good service.

With a place locally you can save a bunch on shipping, especially the large or heavy stuff. I won't buy from LMC, simply because you can't talk to someone who knows what the parts are for. I prefer buying from someone who actually uses the parts.

if i am in okc during there buisness hours i usually go in and check stuff out just fell like thay dont want do help me so i usually order and i live 110 miles away i have ordered from brothers, a lot from early classics(like them alot), alot from summit and jegs for engine parts. alot of yall are saying gmc pauls so i might look at there stuff and maybe try them out i fell the same about lmc i want to talk to someone that knows what there talking about

Aside from site supporters I order suspension from ECE and any misc. stuff from either Classic Parts of America or Kenny's. I can usually get stuff from them in 2-3 days because of location.
