Gas Mileage of C20
Hey guys, I am looking at buying a C20. It has a 400ci auto with factory air.
Pretty nice shape. What would the mileage be on something like that? How is the ride for it being a 3/4T LWB? I want to possibly use this as my daily driver. Thank's. Mike |

I have a 70c/20 402ci custom camper 2wd now 4wd.When it was a dailey driver i got about 9 miles to the gallon stock,very stiff ride until it had weight in the back.Sometimes i left a few hundred lbs in the back to make the ride better.

I bet your gas mileage will be under 10 on its best day. My 69 c20 with a 350 and a carb that looks as if it has never been touched gets around 4-5 mpgs. As far as ride goes, It rides stiff but i wouldnt expect any less for a
30+ year old 3/4 ton truck. I hope i helped. Darrell |

I get 10-11, and it rides great. Not as well as my C10 68 with coils did though
