Winches
This is for the wich guys. I would like to see pics of what winches you all have mounted and the mounts used to mount them. I am getting a front bumper to permanently secure one to the front and get a smaller one to go on a car hauler and that can go on the rear of my truck. What lb rating are you all using.

Re: Winches
Here's the one I took off the bed of my 41 1-1/2ton chevy,I cut the front frame horns off and took 3" channel and bolted it through the front spring hanger mounts the rivets had already been replaced with bolts, and rebolted the frame horns on the end of the 3"channel so I could mount the bumper back on.Not sure of how many lbs it is but it's big.
I tried to find information on it but not successful,it's has allstate stamped on it,it is a PTO winch, but right now I have it as a hand crank,More for looks than anything.Would really like to have a 9,000 or 10,000 electric winch. This is what I had at the time.

Re: Winches
I just finished mounting an ancient $200 Hickey Sidewinder 9,000 lb score for the front of my ’78 K10 that mounts behind the bumper. The rear bumper will be receiving a 12,000 Milemarker SE12,000 very soon. More times than not I need help going backwards out of a jamb rather than further into one therefore, the bigger winch will be on the back.
