Talking Re: How do you use this tool?

The first one has to have the second one hanging from it then that grey one on the left needs to be placed under the first two items then you just lower it in the empty hole of the grey one.

I hope thats clear if not just ask im sure someone here will jump in

G what crate E. did you end up getting?

Your gettin' there

That gap is there when you buy the manifold!

Im not sure why they put it there maybe to have a more stable vaccum in the manifold.

Re: How do you use this tool?

It's folded up, but I think it's used to pick cherries or somem' like that.

Looking forward to the specs, but more to seeing it between the rails.

Re: How do you use this tool?

The engine already has an aluminum intake. I'm removing it to install the bigger badder RPM Airgap. The Airgap intake should look really nice once I mount the Ram Air box on top. I hope to have move the truck into the garage next week. Once I do I'll remove the carb and put it on the engine. I plan to start the engine replacement in about 2 weeks. I'm in the process of ordering parts to complete the engine.

Re: How do you use this tool?

Just a thought, I had a guy once tell me if you take the time to replace a motor why didnt you paint it. So my question is, are you going to paint it and what color?

Re: How do you use this tool?

I don't need to paint it. The GM crate black paint is in good condition. The paint on the oil pan is scrapped a little from sitting on the crate. I'll probably just replace the oil pan with a Wildon "gold" pan. The aluminum heads will be hard to keep clean and so will be the intake. I've noticed that oil can creep up the bolts onto the intake. I'll have to find a solution so the oil does come up the bolts.

Re: How do you use this tool?

Just put some thread sealant on the bolts, then you won't get any oil crawling up them

Re: How do you use this tool?

ARP teflon paste works nice on the intake bolts.
