Question What's it worth? SWB frame, ohio area...

Goin to look at a short/step to purchace, mostly to part out. Seller talls me it is a total crap box, so the main piece that would bring in some money would be the frame.
So, lets say it is not rusted real bad, just the normal surface rust, came with a title, and a drivers door jamb (69, clear Florida title) What would it be worth as a bare frame?
How about as a roller with a probably worn out drum brake set up?

If it has usable trailing arms, control arms and a PS box I would say around $275. Also depends on rearend gearing and posi status.

i would say 250 with an open rear and 400 with a posi. and no pitting. if it is pitted i think it will be hard to sell

Really depends on WHO wants it. I had one put it on ebay twice didn't sell. So I basically gave it away. 50 bucks. But I live in Northeast Tn. so maybe they are more plentiful here then there.

Re: What's it worth? SWB frame, ohio area...

We just had one locally sell on Ebay for $391: 69 short bed/ very rusted with all body panels except tailgate, clean title. Not much to save except a vin plate, hood and frame by the looks of the picture...

Adam...it was an inline 6 3 speed truck originally, so unless otherwise optioned, yes, it'll be a 3.73 rear.
PM me your phone number... I'll let you know what happens. I'm not 100% sure on if I am getting this or not, but I have my guns set on it.

he is already asking less, and I'm gonna try and chew him down a bit, but it's already pretty cheap...think scrap value cheap.
