If you have the cash and you like it, I would jump all over it. You couldn't buy and build one like it for that price. Even if it were a 4X4 originaly. I have seen much worce sell for much more!!! JMO... WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com

Re: Ebay Blazer NEED OPINIONS FOR PURCHASE PLEASE

Hey 72Levi, Go to the forum called "everything but here Finds". I think that was the name of it. Anyway, there is a thread there about halfway down that says "relisted 2wd show blazer". That Blazer is there and other members had dealings with it. I think it sold last time for $19,100.
Just check it out.
Might save you from making a mistake.

Re: Ebay Blazer NEED OPINIONS FOR PURCHASE PLEASE

LUV was going to buy it a year or so ago. Talk to him about it. It looks like a nicely built ride. Personally, I'm not fond of the color combo, but that is a personal opinion. From the pics, that (and not having any $) is the only thing that would make me think twice about buying it.

It has sold twice in the last 6 months for around $20K (Actually once
since it's relisted wich means there was a payment issue on round 2)

Now it's at $15K, less than 24 hours to go, and NO BIDS !!!

I offered ALOT more to him then any of these prices to pull it from
Evil Bay last year when it was listed and sell it to me direct. After
talking to him on the phone I was skeptical about some issues but
was still going forward. He sold it OUT FROM UNDER ME for a lesser
price to the guy in PA, who bought it, shipped it, drove it for 6 mo,
and is now selling it again? I wanna know why he's selling it? There
has to be an issue of some sort (JMHO) AND IT PISSES ME OFF to
think I could have had it and would have kept it. I think the guy's
trying to flip it and make a profit, I like the color combo, but most
people would not care for it and I think it hurts the sale of it, again
that is Just My Honest Opinion, and to think I can't sell mine and it
is ready to be painted any color someone wants? oh well, good luck.

Not knowint the history if this vehical, if you can get it for 15K and it does have a few small problems you can fix them and still be in it for a good price. I say go for it if it is what you are looking for.

Is it me,or does the floor hump look kinda high for a 2wd,unless if course it was a 4spd originally.Cant really tell with the current pics. You would need to pull up the carpet to be sure.

You could not build one for that price of that caliber. I say go for it and bring it on the board.

Out here in Calif. you probably couldnt paint it for 15grand. That is a steal. If I wanted one, Id fly out tomorow to take a look at it.

Re: Ebay Blazer NEED OPINIONS FOR PURCHASE PLEASE

I just noticed it is being sold by a dealer. LUV, I'd guess that the buyer in PA either couldn't really afford it or, and this happens a lot, had a wife who wanted a new car not an "old Blazer."

I'd guess the auction will go up considerably at the end, although it only has 12 hours left. It is definately worth more than the $15,200 the auction is currently at.

Interesting, the winning bidder is a regular customer according to his feedback

Re: Ebay Blazer NEED OPINIONS FOR PURCHASE PLEASE

That blazer was originally from here in AZ and I have seen it in person. Ricks truck parts here in mesa did some of the work on it. It is a quality build.

My 1970 2WD Blazer had an original 6 cylinder and 3 speed on the column transmission. It also has a high hump.. WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com
