Re: Another one bites the Dust
Oh theres rust, and I suppose an expensive rebuild on a rare 348 doesnt fit the low-buck theme. (sorry 'bout the hi-jack)

A buddy of mine had a truck that some guy wanted the motor out of. He told him give me $100 for the truck and it's yours (very fair deal). The guy screwed around on him for a couple weeks. My buddy junked the truck out of spite That is sad - I though junk was high right now? - small rice cars are bringing near $100 around here - at least last time I checked anyway.

Re: Another one bites the Dust
Scrap is up and all. But,really,I think people are getting carried away scraping cars over chump change. It`s alot of work getting junk in to recycle.I can think of better ways to make more money.

Long story, short: I bought from an old friend. I was with him 20 years ago when he bought it from the original owner. My friend has fallen on hard times and he came to me asking if I wanted it. He drove it for 8 years, spun a crank bearing and its been parked since around 1995. NOW ITS MINE!!!!
