Auto crossmember ??

Made the choice... gonna go the auto route and ditch the 3 speed .... seeing as how there is no 72' and earlier C-10's in the yards around here ... will a 73 and up fit ???

I have one. Pics:

Not sure if you have interest. It's sitting in my garage collecting dust. I completely tore it down, sanded it, repainted, got new hardware to bolt it together. I also went from 3spd to something that needed an AT xmember, but I ended up using an aftermarket xmember.

Re: Auto crossmember ??

No clue on whether or not a 73+ will fit. I haven't seen it, but I have a feeling due to the similar width's on the frame it can be made to work, it depends on whetther the height it will put the back of the tranny is the same.

To the rest of the folks on the thread, Evans didn't post a WTB he asked a question, please restrict buying and selling to the parts board.

Oh, I wasn't planning on selling. I've been trying to give this thing away for months now - last person I offered to was RACINJASON.

I've got a few parts like that. 3spd Muncie, Original 3spd column with original steering wheel, etc. Can't wait to get the truck done so I can carry them to the next truck show and swap meet.
