Hey guys! I'm running a pair of 2" drop lower control arms for '63-'71 in my '62 from a company called SoLow that seems to no longer exist. I broke one of these and was hoping someone could help me find some suitable replacements. I don't have nearly the cash to convert to discs, so drop spindles are out of the question. Appreciate any help!

I think DJM makes some at least they used to a couple of years ago

If they are fabricated steel, which most of them are, just pull it and have a local shop weld it up. Post a picture of it if you can.

I think the picture should work now.....

I bought these from Suspension Techniques...they may have been supplied by the same manufacturer. The left one broke, but I still have the right side...

Seeing that, I don't think I'd want to run them at all.

It's weird, the right side doesn't show any signs of cracking or anything. The A-arms had been installed about 10-11 years.

I ended up going with stock A-arms, and dropped spindles.

Sounds like you got your money's worth out of them - I'd buy new ones.

WOW, that is some thin steel for that bushing to be in! That should be a good thick piece of DOM.

i wouldnt run those arms either, stock ones are good for me for now

The arms in the truck were stock pieces that had been cut by the before mentioned company, and lowered two inches behind the ball joint. It must have cracked after an airline decided to seperate from the nitrogen tank, laying the truck flat on the pavement. It later broke pulling out of the shop. It was at the front bushing, exact same spot as that tubular arm from vfrdude. I dont own a camera or have the software to upload digital pics, so sorry I cant get pics. I think I will drop a set of stockers I have. I also ended up with a disc brake front end, so maybe drop spindles are on the way in the near future afterall! Thanks for all the response guys!

I think this is the company that you're looking for. Not sure however because Charley's drop arms look different and are much sturdier. But I think he goes by SoLow. I know that Charley does really good work so I'm confused by this. Anyway, here ya go:
