My 85..
I just got a white 1985 Custom Deluxe longbed..Its in very good condition, theres a few paint chips on the handle for the tailgate but other than that theres not a scratch on it..I bought the truck from my grandpa for $1, he is unable to drive anymore because of his health so he struck me up a good deal..He bought it brand spanking new, and about 8 years ago my dad and him put a brand new engine and tranny in it, which now only has a little over 5,000 miles on it, the actual truck has about 150,000 ..Anyways I've been surfing through here and I have become obsessed with these trucks..Mainly the ones made between 81-87, but ALL of them look great..But I was wondering what is some of the stuff you guys did, and where could I get parts for a truck thats 22 years old..Also I live in Anchorage, Alaska so if theres anyone on here that lives here too and knows of places that specialize in older trucks that would be awesome..I will post pics of my truck when I take them!

Re: My 85..
Welcome to the site. That's the lowest price I've seen paid for a truck. Free or passdown don't count.
Modifications are endless for these trucks. Stick around and just read for a months. You'll get plenty of ideas. Visit my webpage for stuff I've done to my truck. |

I wonder if this could be put as a sticky so it would be accessible to all.

Re: My 85..
very clean! I was halfway expected to see a rusted out truck, being that you lived in alaska. It looks very well taken care of! Good score!
