Entire 71 C10 Project Must Go. NW Jersey

My entire project must go due to the family getting back into go-kart racing. Do not have the room or time for both so someone can get a great head start on a C10 build by buying me out, everything must go now.

Here's what I have:

71 C10 Longbed 250 3 on the tree in nice shape for age. I looked for 18 months before finding this truck. Truck needs general body work also rockers and cab corners. Cab mounts look like they were already replaced. Floors have been repaired but I would look into them deeper. Few very small holes here and there on outside of body. I inteded to convert this to V8 but could be restored or driven as is with the 250 as it is in fine shape with 75,000 (?) original miles. Great driver, starts instantly with manual choke.

Parts I have (all must go together with truck):
New complete gasket set for 250CI.
New rear wheel cylinders (existing work fine).
New rear brake shoes (existing work fine).
Used Chrome front windshield trim.
New rear brake cables (emergency).
New rocker panel (passenger I think).
Replacement windshield (existing is cracked).
New rubber door moulding (one side).
Used 71 inner grille (some broken plastic - existing is good condition, missing one 1" rib which I have and could be refitted).
Set of factory brake lines (current ones on truck seem fine and maybe partially new).
4 used wagon wheels (american racing?) need clean and paint.
2 spare tires.
used GMPP ZZ4 SBC 350 bare block std bore, fluxed and ready for rotating assmbly. One piece seal, roller cam type 95-01 (sweet block, see GMPP for specs)
New Melling high volume oil pump.
New Chrome Mr. Gasket bolt kit for SBC.
New 1250LB engine stand with steel castors, munting hardware, powder coated ($150 new).
used Lowboy engine stand on castors with mounting bolts.
New engine lift plate, powder coated with universal holes for all intakes
New Sun SuperTach II whiteface mounted on hood (hood already had hole for it)
Bedliner installed (OK condition)

Truck needs seatbelt work for passenger side (have belts) Driverside is functional but in need of attention as well. engine compartment is above average all stock no wiring messes. I can post any pics or additional info you need, just let me know.

Test drives welcome. Drives nice and straight, good clutch, no rattles custom apolstered seat but off color for truck (most dont notice) no rips.
Dash is good no radio. heater has been modified to include on/off switch for fan as opposed to sliding adjuster. Just about everyting works. I have to kick the bumper to get one parking light to come on, just needs cleaned and lubed. Will run 55 mph @ 1800rpm smooth ride.


I have $2700 invested and searched for great deals while finding parts.

I will take $2000 for everything but price is firm and no breaking up package. Deal good for Supporting Board Members Only. I just do not have the time for the administrative duties of breaking all this up and shipping to different folks. I need this package to be picked up in Columbia NJ near Delaware Water Gap. If paid for I can store indoors heated for a short time.

Sounds like a GR8 start for someone. I wish I would have started with a truck like this when I started mine. Some one will be interested so here's a bump for ya. Real Fair price for all thats included IMHO.

Thanks Weasel - I think its just a matter of time and someone having the cash and being close to my area to see this and pick it up. I really feel it is a steal at this price. I would pay $2200 for the truck alone. I will keep it up on the board a little while longer, then it has to go on Ebay (cringe)...Selling cars/trucks on Ebay is a major pain in the a**.
